		My Interests

		I have an interest in a wide range of financial areas, tax, savings mortgages, insurance, shares, investments, computers, yes very boring, to many, but I hope that you will find these interests of some use to you.

		My Experience

		I worked for a Civil Service Department for 22 years, the Inland Revenue. I worked on a number of sections in the Department, Personal Taxation, Business Taxation, Corporation Tax, Insolvency, Collection. I also had a particular interest in dealing with Capital Gains Tax and enquires about Inheritance Tax. I was trained on ‘Low Turnover Accounts’ with courses and work on ‘Subcontractor Tax’, ‘Self Assessment’ Personal and Corporation Tax, ‘Management’, Computers.

		I have assisted in obtaining good value mortgages and insurance, recovering amounts in lost accounts, completed forms from Solicitors and organisations. I have prepared, management accounts on a monthly basis, to assist the running of businesses, including charts and analysis. Dealt with problems with organisations and covered home and local offices for small businesses where the proprietors is away, or if you have too much other work to do, using modern IT and communications.
